May 2023 Black & Gold Dinner

Our fourth biennial Black & Gold Dinner, postponed from 2020, is scheduled for May 13, 2023. Thank you to alumni-owned businesses, Vessel Liquor, Urban Grocer, and Smuggler’s Cove Pub for  staying on as Presenting Sponsors, and  1550s Restaurant which will cater the event.

Always a popular event, alumni to be inducted into the Vic High Black & Gold Honour Roll are:

  • Ian McDougall, 1956, world-renowned jazz musician, music professor
  • Sylvia Hosie, 1961, entertainer, director, choreographer, teacher
  • Moe Elewonibi, 1983, Super Bowl 1992 team, CFL player
  • Posthumously Lawrie Wallace, 1930, and daughter Jill Wallace, 1966, two of Vic High’s most dedicated champions for many years
