Vic High Alumni Treasurer – Harry Felsing, VHS 1964
Harry has lived in Victoria since 1952, and graduated from the Vic High university entrance program. He attended General Business School for a year, taking accounting and general business courses. In 1972 he graduated from the Certified General Accountant’s program, got married, and he and his wife have three children. Harry articled as a student with a CGA firm during his CGA courses, and later became a partner in the firm. After five years, he left the partnership and began his career in the BC government with the Auditor General’s office. His next position was with the Superannuation Commission (now the Pension Corporation), then with the Ministry of Government Services and then the Ministry of Human Resources.
In 2011 he left the provincial government and worked for the Anglican Diocese of BC for three years as the Diocesan Finance Officer. In October 2023 he was installed as a member of the Order of the Dioceses of British Columbia in recognition of his years of service at the parish and the diocese.
Harry has been a dedicated supporter of the Vic High Alumni and Vic High, and his experience and knowledge will help guide the Alumni in its evolution.
