Celebrating 150 years since the founding of Victoria High School

Calling all alumni, staff, and students of Victoria High School! It’s time to “Come Give a Cheer” for 150 years of excellence, history, and the Black and Gold spirit. Come celebrate the founding of Vic High, which opened its doors 150 years ago in 1876. Join us for a memorable weekend as we celebrate this joyous event!

Whether you graduated in 1946 or 2026, this is your chance to walk the halls again and reconnect with the friends who shaped your journey.

Victoria Day Parade
Watch for the Vic High float in the Victoria Day Parade on Monday, May 18. Featuring our Vic High R&B band (who will also be playing at the Saturday Gala)

Weekend Highlights:
• Thursday, May 21: Welcome Back Open House. 7 PM – 10 PM Kick off the weekend at the newly renovated Vic High. Check out the new Vic High, see students works, browse archival displays, and reconnect with classmates and friends from your school days in the gym while enjoying a wine and cheese reception. Tickets $35

• Friday, May 22: ‘Honouring the Past, Inspiring the Future’ Variety Show. 7 PM – 9 PM in the auditorium. A special evening of alumni and student performances, historical presentations, and honoured guests. Featured performers: Undertow, Clair Coupland, Alumni Orchestra, Vic High Dancers, and more… Tickets $30

• Saturday, May 23: Classic Vic High, 10 AM – 2 PM Classic car show, reunion get-togethers,  on-site food options, and an celebration atmosphere for all generations. Sign up now

• Saturday Night: Gala 150, 7 PM – Late The grand finale at Crystal Gardens featuring multi-choice food buffet provided by the Empress Hotel, live music featuring The Midnights All Star showcase R&B band, and the Vic High R&B Band, with special guest Martha Reeve, from the Motown hit group Martha and the Vandallas. Tickets $150

Saturday Night Parking at the Crystal Gardens
Parking around the Crystal Gardens is famously tight. There is undercover parking across the road at the Conference Centre, a block up the road at the Library and street parking.
We highly recommend car pooling, taxi or Uber.
