Where Funds Go

Your donations directly support Vic High students by funding awards, equipment, and extracurricular activities. And did you know, Vic High now has the only Astronomy Viewing Deck in the region, thanks to generous Vic High alumni whose donations for telescopes and equipment got its Astronomy program started. Your donations also ensure the ongoing viability of the Alumni Association, teaming up with thousands of volunteer hours each year and making the Vic High Alumni and all that we do together, the envy of other high school alumni organizations.

Alumni donations created the Vic High Astronomy program. It and the new Astronomy Viewing deck are the only ones in a high school in the region.
Donations purchase archival supplies so Vic High’s history is secure, and Alumni volunteers manage this precious resource.

Funds also support the Vic High Alumni Association’s essential operations—maintaining our website and membership system, publishing electronic and print newsletters, supporting reunions and organizing major milestone events, and preserving school history through the Archives and Museum. Together, we ensure Vic High’s legacy of inclusivity and excellence thrives for generations  and our Come Give A Cheer spirit and pride endures.

Vic High Renewal Project

Vic High has undergone a major renewal, preserving its historic character while upgrading for future generations. The project improved seismic safety, added modern learning spaces, and enhanced community amenities, AND WE ALUMNI CONTRIBUTED OVER $195K TO STADIUM AND FIELD UPDATES. Where Funds Come From

Donations to Vic High Alumni come from a generous and engaged community of supporters: individual donations, bequests, and funds raised through class reunions. Endowed donations help create lasting student awards and program grants. Support also comes from Seat Plaque donations, offering a unique way to leave your unique legacy at Vic High. Additionally, alumni events contribute both financially and through fostering continued connection. Together, we all help ensure Vic High remains vibrant, well-supported, and deeply rooted in its proud alumni tradition.

Ways to Donate

  • Donate via Canada Helps. (also allows you to set up monthly donations)
  • Print the Donation Form and mail with your cheque, payable to Vic High Alumni, to Vic High Alumni, c/o 1260 Grant St., Victoria, BC V8T 1C2
  • To donate for an Auditorium Seat Plaque, click here for a separate Order/Donate form

We mail Charitable Tax Receipts (#889708467R0001) for donations of $25 or more. Canada Helps issues receipts for donations made there.

Promotion: In honour of Vic High’s 150th Anniversary in 2026, donate $150 or more and receive a complimentary copy of photobook Vic High 2020, Vic High before its renewal.
